Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam excursions

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

• Arrive at Dar es Salaam and transfer to Palm Village Apartments for relaxation.

Day 2: Transfer to Zanzibar

• Transfer from Dar es Salaam to the ferry terminal for your departure to Zanzibar.
• Upon arrival in Zanzibar, transfer to Tembo Hotel Apartments for relaxation.

Day 3: Prison Island and Stone Town Tour

• Explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Visit historical landmarks like the slave market, the Cathedral Church of Christ, the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, and the Arab Fort and Natural Museum.
• Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the bustling market and admire the ornately carved architecture.
• In the afternoon, take a boat trip to Changuu Island (Prison Island) to see the giant Aldabra tortoises and beautiful peacocks.
• Relax on the beach or snorkel before returning to Stone Town in the evening.

Day 4: Safari Blue Sea Adventure

• Enjoy a full day sailing, snorkeling, and sunbathing on a traditional dhow.
• Explore Menai Bay, a popular spot for dolphin sightings.
• Go snorkeling on the coral reefs at Kwale Sandbank.
• Climb an ancient baobab tree on Kwale Island (optional).

• Swim in a stunning natural lagoon before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Dolphin & Jozani Forest Tour

• Go dolphin watching off the coast of Kizimkazi.
• Take a boat ride through the mangroves before heading to Jozani Forest.
• Hike through the forest with a guide and learn about the red colobus monkeys and other wildlife.

Day 6: Spice Tour & Departure to Dar es Salaam

• Discover the traditional uses of spices in Zanzibar cuisine and medicine.
• Transfer to the ferry terminal for your departure back to Dar es Salaam.

Days 7-21: Dar es Salaam Relaxation
