On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be transferred to Arusha where you will spend the night at the Lake Duluti Serena Hotel with dinner included. Nestled at the foot of the wooded slopes of Mount Meru, this unique hotel stands amid coffee plantations on the shores of tranquil Lake Duluti.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park, The park is known for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season, they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Because of this Lake Manyara National Park is a good spot for bird watching. Visitors to the park can expect to see upwards of 100 different species of bird on any day. Leopards, Lions, Elephants, Blue monkeys, Dik-dik, Gazelle, Hippo, Giraffe, impala, and more inhabit the park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. The leopards and lions are both known to lounge in the trees while not hunting for prey. Dinner is enjoyed at Acacia Lodge

Day 3: Visit the Hadzabe trip in Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, you drive to visit the Hadzabe Bushman Tribe for a cultural experience with packed lunch. Dinner is enjoyed at the Acacia Lodge

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you drive to Serengeti National Park, a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewings in the world. The mobile camp moves throughout the year to different areas within the Serengeti National Park, depending on the time of year and the location of the migratory herds. Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 5: Migration of wildebeest At Serengeti National Park

Two thrilling days of game viewing will take you to prime areas of the Serengeti to see the world’s largest annual migration. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard, and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the camp, followed by a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National park. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle. Dinner and Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, collect packed lunches and drive to the Serengeti National park for game viewing, stopping over at Olduvai Gorge. The name ‘Serengeti’ comes from the Maasai language and appropriately means an ‘endless plains. The National Park is as big as Northern Ireland, but its ecosystem, includes the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Maswa Game Reserve, and the Maasai Mara Game reserve (in Kenya). It lies between the shores of Lake Victoria in the west, Lake Eyasi in the south, and the Great Rift Valley to the east. As such, it offers the most complex and least disturbed ecosystem on earth. A unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support more than 30 species of large herbivores and nearly 500 species of birds. Its landscape, originally formed by volcanic activity, has been sculpted by the concerted action of wind, rain, and sun. It now varies from open grass plains in the south, savanna with scattered acacia trees in the center, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west. Small rivers, lakes, and swamps are scattered throughout. Rising in the southeast are the great volcanic massifs and craters of the Ngorongoro Highlands. The Serengeti

plains are host to a dramatic annual migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and numerous other species of animals indigenous to the area. Dinner and Overnight at Rhino Lodge

Day 8 Ngorongoro crater then Departure

This morning after breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro with packed lunches. In the afternoon descend 2000fet to the Crater floor for game viewing. Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in Tanzania to see the big five, black rhino, and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa. Also is home to strong populations of lions, leopards, and hyenas along with good herds of wildebeest, buffalo, and zebra.  Other game in the Ngorongoro includes serval cat, cheetah, jackal, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, flamingo, and bat-eared foxes along with approximately 400 species of bird. Later drive back to Arusha or our driver will drop you at the airport for your scheduled flight
